Welcome to the 138th Canton Fair.
Overview of the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair):
The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was established in the spring of 1957 and is held biannually in Guangzhou during the spring and autumn seasons. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre, the Canton Fair stands as China's longest-running, largest-scale, most comprehensive, and most influential international trade event. It attracts the widest range of buyers and achieves the highest transaction volumes with the strongest reputation. Hailed as “China's Premier Exhibition,” it serves as the ‘barometer’ and “bellwether” of China's foreign trade.
The Canton Fair serves as a window, microcosm, and symbol of China's opening to the world, functioning as a vital platform for international trade cooperation. Since its inception, the Canton Fair has weathered storms and never ceased operations, successfully hosting 137 sessions. It has established trade relations with 229 countries and regions worldwide, accumulating export transactions worth approximately US$1.5 trillion and attracting over 12 million overseas buyers through both physical attendance and online participation. This has powerfully promoted trade exchanges and friendly interactions between China and countries and regions around the world.
